Florence is such a beautiful city. It's the kind of city where you just want to retire and enjoy life. Everything about it is charming, the architecture, the food, the people etc... What to do while you are there? I would recommend a visit to the old bridge or "ponte vecchio". According to my friend Matteo it is the only one still standing after world war 2. What to eat? an ice cream, they have the most amazing ice creams, specially caramelized fig. And what to buy? leather.. apparently it's their specialty and it is of very good quality.
